Our story so far….

Helping others navigate their world is our expertise. With roots in Illinois, work and study has taken Bo M. White to over 56 countries on six continents, helping over 20,000 students, faculty, and staff live and work abroad. He has assisted in building over 100 experiential learning programs and a few non-profit organizations.

He believes that timeless truth and amazing grace are overlooked and taken for granted in a world saturated with information (and misinformation), so the Urbana Leadership Group seeks to restore the sacred and the human to this complex world.

After graduate work in theology and international education, Bo earned his doctoral degree (Ed.D) in organizational leadership at the University of Southern California.

He is a certified pro in the Full Focus System, a certified trainer and facilitator with the Cultural Intelligence Center, and a certified leadership development coach from Maxwell Leadership.

Bo started the Urbana Leadership Group to help men and women find their way home in a world built for personal drift and professional distraction. We help people travel effectively while also taking a stand for what is most important.

Outside of work, Bo enjoys finding new indie music, reads at least a book a week and finds creative writing and detective fiction fun outlets. His Austin based church home is formative and a center of renewal. Married over 25 years to Tamara, he has two adult children.
